As a critical member of the Technology Services Group (TSG) leadership team, reporting to the Managing Director of Infrastructure Services, the Senior Vice President of Infrastructure Services will be responsible for owning the execution of Infrastructure Engineering and Support, and support of existing TSG and Moody's-wide in-house built and SaaS applications. This role is a fast-paced, hands-on position that requires immediate impact upon joining the team. The SVP-Infrastructure Services will serve as the local site leader for the TSG India operations and will be required to spend X-days per week in Moody’s Bangalore office. This role is critical to the success of the TSG and will require close collaboration with stakeholders to ensure alignment with TSG, business, and corporate goals and objectives.
  • Site Leader and Senior manager representing the Technology Services Group
  • Manage Development, Cloud Engineering, and Support teams consisting of on-site employees and consultants across a wide spectrum of technologies.
  • Work collaboratively with business and technology stakeholders to secure adequate engagement in the full SDLC process, including requirements gathering, design, test, and support phases.
  • Work with business and technology leaders to maximize efficiency by effectively tracking, evaluating, and reporting on the delivery of projects and services with regard to cost and timing as measured against agreed-upon service levels.
  • Resolve client satisfaction issues and ensure high-priority/escalated issues are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Advise senior management on matters related to product development plans, budgets, personnel, and new opportunities.
  • Lead the recruiting and hiring strategy for the TSG organization in India.
  • Lead global and remotely based product teams (on-site and offshore) and develop requirements built on customer and business needs.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvements across engineering processes with well-defined KPIs, including automation, cost engineering, data, and cloud metrics.
  • Develop applications using Agile methodology.
  • Work closely with the cybersecurity team to ensure applications and infrastructure meet key operational security metrics.
  • Drive continuous improvement (productivity and quality) in product development operations by initiating change and creating an environment that is conducive to change.
  • Ensure the team understands, accepts, and supports departmental goals and objectives.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • 12+ years of experience delivering complex SaaS product solutions in a technical capacity.
  • Relevant cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Google) would be considered a plus.
  • 6+ years of working experience in AWS (API Gateway, IAM, S3, SNS, SQS, Lambda, Aurora, Glue, DynamoDB, EKS, Docker), Python, Scala, Java/J2EE (Javascript, React, Angular JS), Web Services (REST and SOAP), Micro Services (Spring, Spring Boot).
  • Proven track record of development and deployment of financial services applications.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Highly motivated and have a track record of innovation, hands-on development leadership, execution, delivery, customer focus, and be highly skilled in software development.
  • As the India Site Leader of TSG, this role requires strong leadership and management skills to oversee the successful delivery of our technology services. The SVP-Infrastructure Services will lead a team of engineers and professionals, manage large-scale projects, build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners, and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. The successful candidate must be able to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, manage budgets and resources, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
